News: Lamborghini Release All Electric Car Preview

Lamborghini have come to the stand that a package can indeed be created, for a supercar, in the electric form.

Lamborghini has held back from producing a range of electrics for some time now, adhering to their longstanding brand of combustion, history marking, fired up, full package supercars.

But now, they broke the seal. Releasing a statement for an upcoming all-electric car.

 

Supercar Expectations

As time has passed, numerous other supercar makers have developed credible, practical supercar packages using electric tech. So, Lamborghini have come to the stand that a package can indeed be created, for a supercar, in the electric form.

 

Faithful to Brand Core

The company has spoken regarding their route for electrifying a decarbonisation, in the near years to come. First they celebrate the oil engines built to signify their stunning history, then a dive into clean energy.

 

Brand Focus + Second Decade Proposal

The focus has been centred on hybrids by Lamborghini for the time being, however the focus has changed in foresight; now duo centred on oil engine and EV. The brand confirmed an electric vehicle in arrival for the second half of the decade.

Development in the second half of the decade will be focussed on fully electric models, including the plans for a fourth car. Again, creativity within this sector will be directed to stellar performance, placing the newest product on their highest platform.

 

Direzione Cor Tauri

Lamborghini's now current and future bound route as they have coined it- Cor Tauri: the brightest star in the constellation Taurus as to which the company's business map follows, is spoken for by a fourth electric model. The bull follows the brightest star, which is an innovation pun all on its own. 

CEO Stephan Winkelmann spoke on the arriving new electric as a 2 + 2 or 4 seater.

The work has begun. Audi and Porsche's performance electric platform is thought to be a substantial help for Lamborghini, which at a time when most brands are already developing.

 

The New Product Details

Climactic in product for the new route Direzione Cor Tauri will be their three auto lines electrified by the end of 2024 in forms of hybrid plug in powertrains.

 

Celebrating the Old

Lasting triumph for the models that made history being the V12 to name one. Two finalised cars only driven by the V12s will be introduced 2021. This is the first step in Lamborghinis brand strategy striding forwards. Paying attention to the iconic models built and promoted in speed and craft, both older and new. They intend to remain, Lamborghini.

 

2023

The year 2023 marks when their range will slide into hybrid technology. Intending to be finito with this step by 2024. The only Lamborghini hybrid in existence is the Sian. Fast forward time & whole ranges will be of the same motor system.

 

Company Aim

Experience and authenticity will remain the main centre of the engineering development. Using carbon fibre material lightweight in essence will be of paramount importance to balance out the weight absence of no combustion. Their target goal internally is decreasing vehicle C02 emissions by 50% by the time 2025 starts.

 

The Investment Needed

Lamborghini will launch a 1.5 billion euro investment to cover the next 4 years. Honing their EV technology within the span, the brand states this is the biggest sum dedicated during their extensive history.

 

Carbon Neutrality

The brand's HQ in Sant'Agata hit carbon neutrality in 2015, they are seeking to cut that down to half circa 2015.
