The Gigafactory industry is a production that helps heighten finance and technology in the present and long run. Not simply a marketing image to dramatize the EV hype.

Who Holds the Ranks?

Europe and Asia hold strong bearings, and it would appear North America seeks to become one of them, or build on their own position.

Who is on Top?

Short term the US will emerge less dominant, but that said, the presidential plan is heading in the direction of a catch up, expanding past the year 2025.

Future Plans

The White House plans to carry out a speed up of the electric vehicle industry. $2 trillion committed to upgrading the infrastructure of the country. In terms of US electric industry resource- $175 billion.

Battery Production Boost

Due to the plans being made, there will be a boost coming for batteries and their production rates, speed and circulation.

Tesla's Involvement Could Boost EV Circulation

The needed acceleration of battery production, and Tesla's position means that Elon Musk is in the most suited position to spearhead this type of move within the industry. It would boost action to meet the aim of getting 25 million EVs in circulation as 2030 approaches. Tesla have two gigafactories currently in action.

·         SK Innovation

Supplier of Volkswagen and Ford, a giant within the American market is one of the largest USA battery factory drivers. They plan to open two new plants in Georgia, on route if all runs smoothly for 2021 and 2023. These plants are generating high interest for the US automotive market as they hold a currently exclusive non captive demand. The products are available to any customer who requires it. A prospective boost for the nation's industry in electro mobility.

·         General Motors

Parent company of Ford, Chevrolet and Cadillac to name three, GM have the same intention of gaining momentum in the local and international market, an intent intensified after the plan confirmed by the White House. Plans are being made to build a battery-cell factory.

Keeping on Track for Long term

To do this they need to stay on track for the economic battery expectations. Quantumscape is a company supported by no other than car maker Volkswagen and American Business Magnate B. Gates, for solid state battery development. A product line will begin in 2024, aiming to mass produce.

Preparation is Key You See

A full scale production line by 2024 is what Silo Technologies want. Pinpointed in Silicon Valley and supported by Daimler, it spoke of small scale production plans this year. The potential to build for mass production; post three years. Product wise, silicon dominant batteries, which hold some of the highest potential for future alternatives.

Solid power is another company in position to produce top capacity batteries from 2023, with General Motors. This impressive line-up is just a few named US companies showing promising leads for the economic future. Prep is the key you see.
