Company car drivers prefer to choose a pure EV, and are benefitting from a zero % benefit in-kind (BIK) rate this tax year 2020/21.
This will rise to 1% the year following. 2% the year after that, compared with between 12% and 37% for petrol and diesel fuelled vehicles.
