The solar panelled roof performs as an additional power device, expanding the Ioniq 5's range rate. Simply don't rely on the solar as a main source to fully charge your Hyundai.
These panels can clock leading up to 2,000km each year. If you drive somewhere hot, in a sun soaked location, maybe the Southern France, you get estimated 5- 6km per day.
Ability to Charge Other Electric Vehicles
Your car can charge other EVs! It's incredible. Your own charge needs to be above 15%, then plug the new Ioniq 5 into a second EV and charge it.
Dropping below 15% means any charging of another electric car will cease, saving range for your own EV.
