What happens at the end of your contract?
Our goal is to make the whole process simple and hassle-free, and with this in mind, we will contact you 6 months before your contract(s) end.
Lead times vary greatly and many vehicles have waiting lists for factory order slots, so it’s best to make arrangements in advance to ensure that your new vehicle arrives on time and is exactly to your chosen specification.
Contract Hire end of contract information
At the end of the agreement, the vehicle returns to the finance house.
Your end of contract options for Contract Hire
If you take no action, charges will continue to accrue on a daily (pro rata) basis, from the day the contract expires until the day the vehicle is purchased, collected or extended. Please therefore ensure that you advise us in plenty of time of your decision so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Personal Contract Hire end of contract information
At the end of the agreement, the vehicle returns to the finance house.
Your end of contract options for PCH
If you take no action, charges will continue to accrue on a daily (pro rata) basis, from the day the contract expires until the day the vehicle is purchased, collected or extended. Please therefore ensure that you advise us in plenty of time of your decision so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Finance Lease end of contract information
At the end of the agreement, you have two options, you can continue to use the vehicle, or you can sell the vehicle.
Your end of contract options for Finance Lease
If you take no action, the finance lease agreement will enter a secondary period, and you will be liable to pay annual secondary period (peppercorn) rentals. Although of a nominal amount (usually equivalent to one monthly payment per annum), these rentals can easily be avoided.
Please therefore ensure that you act in plenty of time, as the paperwork for your chosen option must be fully completed before the contract end date.
Hire Purchase end of contract information
At the end of your contract when you have made your final payment (including option-to-purchase fee), the car belongs to you.
Your end of contract options for Hire Purchase
If you take no action, the balloon repayment will be taken automatically by Direct Debit. Please therefore ensure that you advise us in plenty of time of your decision so we can make the necessary arrangements.
Personal Contract Purchase end of contract information
At the end of your contract when you have made your final payment (including option-to-purchase fee), the car belongs to you.
Your end of contract options for Personal Contract Purchase
